My Preemie Dolls

These dolls are keepsake preemie dolls for memorial purposes. They are not toys. They were created and designed by Sandy Eding, her web address is http://www.preemiedolls.com . Each doll is handmade according to your babies' specification. I measured each footprint and sent her their birth weights and lengths too. She puts a lot of hard work into them, because she wants to make them as best as she can. I received my dolls fast...within 4 weeks of mailing my check!!

This is a picture of all four of the babies in a
round Longaberger basket I bought just
for them. The blanket was given to us at a
shower held on May 18, 2001. I like them all kind
of squished in there together because I envision this
was how they were in my tummy.

These are Baby B (girl in pink) and Baby D (boy in blue). They were
12 weeks gestation. This was their size when we had the reduction
done. She even made little diapers, gowns, booties,
hats and name bracelets for them!!

These are pictures of my Jacob doll. He weighed
15 ounces and was 11 ¼ inches.

These are pictures of my Emme doll. She weighed
1 lb 8 ounces and was 12 ½ inches.

This is the side view of my
Emme doll. She even makes little
ears and toes!!

There is no way I can thank Sandy enough. She is an amazing woman. So very caring and generous. I still can't believe how great my dolls are. Some may think it's weird or unhealthy, but they bring me such comfort. While holding them in my arms, I can pretend a little that I have my babies back.
